When I upgrade my Verizon Wireless phone what choices will I have for my new one?
I don't know how the Verizon wireless system works. Does it go by how expensive your original phone is? I have the Moto Rizr Z6 TV which is one of their more expensive phones. Does that mean I will be able to get a more expensive phone when the day comes that I can upgrade?
"Sign up for and maintain two years of service on a digital plan of $34.99 or higher to qualify for a free phone up to a $50 or $100 value, depending on the monthly access of your plan, or receive a credit of the same amount toward the purchase of a more expensive phone, with a two-year renewal."
This is what is says on Verizons website. My first upgrade is actually coming up 2/05/09 and when I talked to a person at the Verizon store they said that you get the credit to your Verizon account so its in a way a discounted or free phone. From reading this description it seems that depending how much your monthly bill is, you will get either a $50 or $100 credit towards a new phone. If the phone is under $100 it will be free, if it is over $100 and you qualify for the $100 credit, then that credit will be applied to the phone of your choosing.
