How to improve voice clarity in Yahoo Messanger?
I am facing this problem for past one and a half year. When i use Yahoo Messanger for voice chatting, there is always static in the background. It sounds like a radio station which is not tuned properly. Though I can hear my friend's voice, this disturbance is causing lot of headache (literaly).
I use broadband. I have changed set of microphones and speakers couple of times. The hardware engineer who checked my comp says everything is OK. But i still face this problem.
I had posted the same question in Yahoo Answers a month back but the solutions did not prove to be useful.

maybe the problem is with the persons you are speaking with.try installing the last version on yahoo messenger

if that doesn't work try installing Skype
http://skype.com/
it's a program just like Yahoo Messenger but it's focused more on voice chat, see if you are having the same problem there
