Quit smoking last month, Now I'm Really constipated. Pls help.?

I have been Cig Free since July 15, And Everything has been great except I have been really constipated. About a week ago i brought some Colon Cleanse + Some Fiber Pills. I have only had 2 Bowel Movements in the last month, and Last night i had really bad Gas In my cheat, it really felt like I was having a heartattack, my girlfriend rushed to the gas station and brought some pepto bismol and after i took it the pain went away. But I think the Gas might be because of my constipation. When i Smoked Cigarettes I had a Movement once every 2 days on average. What should I do? I'm really freaking out because I have no health insurance. As I said I have taken Colan Cleanse and Fiber pills over the last week, and nothing has helped. I'm at the point where i cant take it any more and Need to know what can i take that will Help me out. Thanks!

Congratulations on quitting smoking. Now on to your question. Eat regular meals and include fiber. Establish a regular bathroom pattern, i.e., have a cup of hot beverage every morning and try to use the toilet at a regular time. Give it a couple of weeks and if you're still constipated, seek medical help. Do not - DO NOT - rely on laxatives or colon cleanses, as this will only make it worse. Good luck.
