What do you think about Doc Rivers comment about his team's "title defense" from last night?

I highly respect Doc Rivers and his coaching style. Last night he said that his Celtics' original starting five (Perkins, Garnett, Pierce, Allen, Rondo) never got to defend their title since Garnett was hurt last year and Perkins was out in Game 7. I think that was a pretty whack and cheap comment. You got beat by the better team. The Lakers. Straight and simple. You were up 3-2 and had a chance to defend your title.

Well, with his logic. that means the title in 2008 doesn't count either since the Lakers didn't have Bynum. So see, both sides can play this game all day. Bottom line is, lakers won. No excuses.
