I messed up this semester in college and I'm trying to transfer Fall 2011?
My first two semesters in college where pretty good - 3.86 and 3.72, but this semester I messed up pretty bad. I basically had zero motivation and don't understand how I got to this point. I think I'm going to end up with 3 B's (if I'm lucky one of those might be an A) and 2 C's. It doesn't seem like that big of a deal but I'm trying to transfer to CSU Long Beach next fall (2011) and their program in what I'm studying is impacted (Film). I'm planning on trying my hardest to ace this next semester, I'm shooting for a 4.0 and nothing less, but that won't show up in my application, since that'll be do before the end of the semester. Do you think my chances are completely shot on getting in there?
You definitely have an uphill battle. I personally would retake any classes that i got less than a B in as your school and major are way competitive.
